Disney’s U Rock contest to award cool prizes, including meet-and-greet with Jonas Brothers
Thu, 22 Jul 2010 Disney’s U Rock contest is back this summer with some pretty cool prizes. Kids (and their parents) can choose from one of four songs to use to make a music video and the grand prizes correspond to the songs:
**Allstar Weekend “Dance Forever”: Winner jams with the band and gets a $1,000 shopping spree in Santa Monica.
**Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam cast “It’s On”: Winner goes to the concert.
**Jonas Brothers “LA Baby”: Winner travels to L.A. to meet the Jonas Brothers.
**Phineas and Ferb “Backyard Beach”: Winner hangs out in Hollywood and goes behind the scenes of the show.
In addition, four first prizes of Disney gift packs worth $575 will be awarded.
Videos are posted on the contest site here so check them out for inspiration and laughs. Entries that are longer than 40 seconds will be disqualified. Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. PT Aug. 23.
Judges will determine the top 5 finalists in each category, and Disney.com users will choose the winners by voting online from Aug. 31 to Sept. 13. See official rules here.
Walt Disney Records has released the Phineas and Ferb and JONAS L.A. soundtracks, and the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack and Allstar Weekend’s Dance Forever debut July 27.
