Disney Cruise Line’s sleek Pink bar on Disney Dream a tribute to champagne Mon, 26 Jul 2010 An artist's rendering shows the champagne theme of the Pink nightclub on the new Disney Dream. (Disney Cruise Line)
While kids are playing in their own special areas of the Disney Dream, parents can kick back at Pink, a cocktail bar located in The District area of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship.
Inspired by France’s finest champagne, Pink’s decor features backlit glass “bubbles” inset into the walls. An accent wall behind the wall showcases glass dewdrops in shades of pink, giving the illusion of bottles bursting forth with the bubbly. The theme is even represented in the sculpted-glass light fixtures that are reminiscent of champagne flutes and in the detailing along the front of the bar that resembles the wire cage surrounding a champagne bottle top.
The French Art Nouveau style of the bar with luxurious finishes and cozy niches is designed to be a romantic getaway.
The District, located on Deck 4 is a section of the ship that caters to adults in the evening, and is home to a variety of lounges and nightclubs, including Evolution, District Lounge, 687, Pink and Skyline.
