The Disney Store might be a magical place for some folks in Florida this week.
First, the new Disney Store in Tampa is hiring. An open casting call is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore, 225 N Lois Ave.
The International Plaza store is hiring part- and full-time employees. Job seekers are asked to bring their resumes and be prepared for interviews.
Also, this week, kids can make a Perry the Platypus Inaction Figure on Saturday, Aug. 14, at most Disney Stores. There are two free sessions, beginning at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
This craft, which is designed for ages 6 and older, is based on Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb episode “Toy to the World.” The minimum age requirement to participate is 3 years.
Disney Stores in Central Florida are located at Seminole Towne Center in Sanford and Florida Mall in Orlando.
