Disney-backed band Allstar Weekend returns to the Orlando area tonight for a House of Blues concert, and life has gotten a little busier for the four guys since they last visited in April.
Their debut album, Suddenly, was released in June, and a jam-packed schedule has Allstar Weekend on a headline tour through the end of the year to promote it. (Fall dates will be released soon; check here for tour updates.) Previously, Allstar Weekend has shared the stage with Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber.
When asked about his favorite on the seven-song Suddenly, lead singer Zach Porter said, “It changes all the time. Right now, I really love “The Weekend.” It’s a fun song to perform live, too.” Porter is joined by Nathan Darmody on guitar and vocals; Cameron Quiseng on bass; and MIchael Martinez on drums.
In between concerts stops, the band has been working on an extended version of Suddenly, which features four new songs and goes on sale Oct. 19. The first of those songs will be released Sept. 17 on Disney Channel and Radio Disney.
Zach said they are looking forward to meeting fans after tonight’s show. “Our fans in Florida always make great signs and T-shirts, and we really appreciate the love,” Zach said.
If you go: Before you Exit opens for Allstar Weekend. Doors for the standing-room-only show open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $16.25 at House of Blues.
